« Tu veux que je t’envoie Deacon ? Il sera à la maison dans environ 15 minutes. »
« Hum, est-ce que j’ai envie de m’émasculer moi-même en ayant le mari de mon ex-femme qui vient tuer une araignée pour moi ? »
« Papa, ça bouge encore ! ».
« 15 minutes tu dis ? Ca marche pour moi. Il peut rentrer directement. Dis-lui d’apporter sa pelle. Et un chalumeau ». Par le son du rire de Brook, il était évident qu’elle ne prenait pas ça au sérieux autant que lui. Ne savait-elle pas qu’ils étaient dans un péril mortel ?

C'est tellement dommage que ce livre soit si court ! Impossible de développer quelque chose d'une véritable qualité en seulement 100 pages ! Pourtant les bases sont là, et c'est bien dommage : l'écriture est bonne, j'ai retrouvé dans ce tome un humour que j'aime beaucoup chez Charlie Cochet et ses personnages sont toujours agréables. Bon, le scénario est un peu plan-plan mais difficile de développer quoi que ce soit en si peu de temps, et c'est encore plus rageant quand on sait que l'auteure a un vrai talent scénaristique (THIRDS).

Du Charlie Cochet pur jus avec des personnages attachants et beaucoup d'humour. On reconnait bien son style qui a fait le succès des THIRDS.
L'histoire est courte (une centaine de pages) et se lit très facilement.
La fin donne envie de lire la suite avec l'histoire de Hunter et Ari.
