Separated as children by forces beyond their control, siblings Jewel and Zeb are finally reunited, seventeen years later. Having been adopted from the group home when she was just four, Jewel had lived with a loving family for years. But when her adoptive parents end up murdered and Jewel disappears without a trace, Zeb gives up everything to search for her.

The monsters of nightmares are real for Jewel when she is kidnapped and tortured by an evil man bent on revenge. But once she is free of him, revenge becomes her motivation.
