Le récit est digne d'un conte de fées modernes, mais ça peut faire rêver...
Des enfants orphelins placés dans des familles d'accueil et harcelés par des gamins du quartier.
Dix ans plus tard, le petit voleur de voitures est devenu pilote de Formule 1 ; la fille est repérée dans un bar par un agent et devient top model, nouveau "visage" d'une marque de maquillage.
Bien sûr, ils se retrouvent, se marient, et ont des enfants.
(Entretemps, j'ai passé quelques péripéties comme les ex jalouses ou les harceleurs de célébrités, j'avoue!)
Bref, c'est gentillet mais un peu prévisible et irréaliste.

Suzanne Wright me surprend toujours jusqu'à maintenant je peux dire que j'apprécie tout ses livres et celui là est indéniablement l'un de mes préférés. J'ai adoré la relation explosive et passionnée de Jaxxon et Connor et la fin est tout simplement géniale.

Ce roman est touchant et aborde des thèmes réalistes. J'aime particulièrement cette auteure et je n'ai pas été déçu par ce livre.

There has only been three people in Jaxxon Carter's life who truly mattered to her. Her mum, who committed suicide. Her sister, who she hasn’t seen since her teens. Remembering how close they had once been, he’s shocked when she doesn’t respond to his attempts to contact her and then acts indifferently to him when they meet. But Connor can’t let it go. The only reason he had kept his hands off her ten years ago was that she had been younger than him. Now that they’re adults, he isn’t prepared to allow anything – not even Jaxxon – to stop him from having her.
Warning: This novel contains a bitchy female who curses like a sailor, a persistent alpha male who doesn’t understand the word ‘no’, and explicit hot sex in some very public places.
