The Algae Voices of Azule - La série

The Algae Voices of Azule chronicles a day in the life of a set of twins, Billy and Ali, both ten years old. They have psychic powers, which is not something out of the ordinary on their planet, Azule. In fact, many people are psychic on Azule, most hiding their abilities from the dictatorship that rules this planet. Billy and Ali, however, will be forced to decide if they should use their psychic powers, their Gifts, to save someone from a fate worse than death, a choice that may damn them to the same destiny. They’ll be hunted by the dreaded Inquisitors, chased through the waterfront and docks of Azule City, and forced to hide for their lives. The twins will use everything they know to escape the Inquisitors and save themselves, but when they learned a loved one is in trouble, and only they know how to save them, they will have to make a choice that may damn them forever. Billy and Ali will learn the about the consequences of choice and how cold and terrifying sacrifice can be. You won’t be disappointed.

Billy and Ali, ten-year old twins, are running for their lives. In book 2 of the Algae Voices of Azule series, the twins will use their psychic powers to wave their brother from torment and certain death, freeing him from the Voices, but also defeating one of President Macab’s brutal Inquisitors in the process; both accomplishments thought to be impossible. Now, Macab wants to catch the twins and their family, and torture them until he learns how they defeated the Voices and his Inquisitor attack dog. The entire military will be mobilized to find Billy and Ali, but more terrifying, Macab will aim his Inquisitors at the twins and they will do anything to catch their prey. The family will have to flee and hide from the forces of President Macab’s machine of oppression as they are chased across Azule City and into the wild Outlands, where terrors far worse than Inquisitors reside. Their family will try to put together the pieces of their shattered lives as they run from the forces that seek to destroy them. In the end, one of them will have to consider the ultimate sacrifice in order to keep loved ones safe.

Billy and Ali hate their lives in the underground refuge of Haven. Being smaller and weaker than the other kids, they are constantly the targets of teasing and abuse, bullied from all sides, making them doubt their own value. But then they are given a chance to make a difference, use their psychic powers to help the unfortunate and save the damned from a fate worse than death. Sneaking back into Azule City with the chief of the Gifted, Farzin Arash, Billy and Ali use their psychic powers to penetrate a secure facility, narrowly avoiding heavily armed security forces, and try to save hundreds of hopeless souls, lost and forgotten. Billy and Ali doubt their own strength but try to do that which has never been done before, unaware of the danger that exists, their very sanity hanging in the balance. Will they survive? Will they find those that are lost, or will they themselves become lost.
