Prologue
If you were to tell me a month ago that my life would be where it is now, I would have phoned up the nut house and made a reservation for you A.S.A.P.
I was innocent and gullible, but above all, I was naive. Naive to think that everything was black or white. Right or wrong. Yes or no. Naive to live the life I had, I was trapped, and I just accepted it. I never went looking beyond the horizon, never ventured past the end of my own nose.
How much I would have loved to escape the little bubble I was in, but was scared of change and loss. I bound myself up in bubble wrap for protection yet a mould forced me to be the kind of person I didn’t want to be.
Work, eat, sleep, work, eat, sleep. My world was a conveyor belt; every day was the same old tune playing over and over. What I needed to do was to change the track, step up the tempo. One person did just that, they took away the radio and replaced it with a live orchestra. The song it played so beautiful, it was heart breaking.
It all started with an average day that went on to become anything but ordinary.
