Cast in Firelight est vraiment un super roman. Les personnages sont vraiment géniaux, la relation entre Adraa et Jatin est bien amenée et fait très réaliste. L'univers, pour sa part, est très intéressant, bien construit ; la fin est absolument parfaite.
Le seul point m'ayant un tant soit peu déplu est le manque de présence de l'antagonisme principal. Le fait que Adraa et Jatin enquêtent pour comprendre le fin mot de l'histoire, c'est bien beau, mais j'ai trouvé qu'il n'y avaient pas assez d'indices pouvant mener le lecteur à songer à cette conclusion.
Finalement, c'est un roman que je recommande vivement, et qui mériterait vraiment plus de visibilité.

Très bon livre, l’amour entre les deux personnes principaux est tellement pur , et la façon dont ils tombent amoureux sans savoir qui est l’un et qui est l’autre est tellement chou !!
J’adore Jutin autant que Adraa.
L’histoire fut tout de même un peu complexe à comprendre en raison de mon anglais, (niveau B1- B2 je dirais, je suis en seconde).
Enfin c’est un très bon livre ! Une tension toujours présente, de l’action à foison, tout pour un bon livre, hate de lire la suite !

Un livre incroyable. La romance était bien meilleure que dans 95% des livres. L'intrigue était spectaculaire. Je ne pouvais plus lâcher le livre.

I loved this book so so much!
Honestly, I bought it because Charlie Bowater illustrated the cover and I love her artwork. Then I read that it had an arrange marriage trope, which I enjoy a lot, so I was basically sold already.
But I felt like maybe not a lot of people were talking about this book, so I was still a little bit hesitant. Well, I shouldn’t have been, because this book was amazing!
First of all, it is a dual point of view, which I haven’t seem a lot in YA with only two MC’s and it made this book better (and honestly, it was probably a little bit necessary to the story too).
Adraa and Jatin were both amazing characters and I loved reading from both of them. They both felt real and I really connected with them. They are so endearing and funny.
The arrange mariage trope didn’t take the turn I though it would, but it was still amazing, because the tension in this book was really well done. I often find that in YA books, the romance is cute, and that is it. But I really shipped them together because of the banter and the tension.
Also, the plot was really great and there were some plot twists that I didn’t see coming. And the magic system was really cool and unique, in my opinion.
Overall, I really loved this book, and I can’t wait to see how the story will develop in the second book!
