Wavy froze. There weren’t supposed to be any ghosts down in the village. She knew where every ghost in town lived. Unless. . .
She swallowed. “Oh, no.”
“What’s wrong?” Niall stopped walking.
“Mom?” Wavy’s chest tightened and she could barely speak. She ran to the stand of trees and raced through the spaces between them searching for her mother’s ghost. She ran back around to the street and met Niall. She scanned the park searched the street in both directions. “Where did she go?”
“Who?”
“My mom. She’s here. She was here. Now she’s gone.” Wavy’s breath caught. “Oh, Hecate, help me. I think her ghost is stuck.” She wrung her hands.
“What do you think she’s doing here?” Niall looked through the trees and across the park as if he might be able to find her.

C'est un bon livre. Très bien écrit mais un peu jeune pour mon goût.
C'est un univers magique dissimulé dans le monde des 'normal' à la Harry Potter mais l'histoire n'a rien à avoir avec celle d'Harry Potter. Ils voyages à travers les miroirs, utilise des baguettes magiques, des mots de pouvoirs...
On apprends à connaitre les personnages au fil de la lecture Niall et Wavy. Leur histoire est intéressante. Le dénouement est quelque peu prévisible.
