Born in 1966 in Essex, Lee Stafford is one of Britain’s most exciting - and busy - young celebrity hairdressers. Lee is constantly in demand, making regular TV appearances (This Morning, Cosmo How to Please Your Lover, CD:UK, GLR, Weakest Link Celebrity Special) as well as filming his hugely successful fly on the wall series ‘The Hairdresser’ which follows his action packed, non stop life on Living TV. Not content with just one series, Lee has now just finished filming the second series which is to be aired in September 05!
Lee simply exudes creativity and artistic flair, and leads the way in the industry - not only by doing fantastic hair but by creating new cutting techniques, beautiful collections, designing state of the art salons and award winning product ranges.
Lee is also a fantastic showman and hosts seminars world wide in front of audiences of thousands, and is if this wasn’t enough he also runs three very busy and successful salons.
And of course there is his own range – Lee Stafford Haircare. In Schiaparelli pink and with products such as poker straight and as ruff as you like, it has Lee’s individual, out-there signature all over it. In 2000, Lee opened his second salon – Lee Stafford Salon – on Wardour Street in London’s Soho. His original salon, THE HOUSE THAT HAIR BUILT – was opened in Essex in 1996 and was an immediate success, nominated for Salon of the Year, 1999. Last year saw the launch of a brand new salon in Brighton, which was a dream come true for Lee.
2005 has been Lee’s biggest year yet! It has seen the re-launch of his super stylish, heaven and hell themed Soho Salon, to the launch of his brand new satellite range “R U Taking protection? A completely new and hugely innovative prescriptive collection that aims to combat the damaging elements that can ruin our hair in our everyday lives. As if that wasn’t enough, just to top it all off Lee has now been nominated for British Hairdresser of the year 2005, a truly fantastic achievement!
