Pour Lady Primrose Wootten, rien n’a été ordinaire depuis que son père, le baron, est mort, et sa famille repoussante a rempli le domaine de cupidité et de trahison. Primrose sait que si elle peut retrouver son frère, il peut envoyer les odieuses relations. Mais au lieu de cela, elle trouve cet étranger énorme et puissant et oublie complètement ce qu’elle faisait en premier lieu... Sir Bened Vaughn n’a pas peur d’un pistolet. Mais il a un peu peur de la femme qui le tient, qui remue quelque chose de si primitif qu’il n’est pas sûr qu’il puisse le secouer. Vaughn est un homme honorable, et il sait qu’il n’a pas le droit de désirer Primrose. Pourtant, il a l’obligation de l’aider, et à mesure qu’ils en apprennent davantage sur la disparition de son frère, il se rend compte que cela signifie qu’il doit rester à ses côtés [...] en la voulant tout le temps [...] et en se demandant combien de temps ils pourront résister à la tentation [...]

Yet he does have an obligation to help her, and as they learn more about her brother's disappearance, he realizes that means staying by her side...wanting her all the while... and wondering how much longer they can resist temptation...
