I feel like this second book is pretty much in the same vibe as the first book. I liked that we had a bit more of Wendell and Emily as a couple even if their relationship was mentioned multiple times but not showed a lot in my opinion.
I also felt like this second book was a little bit more action packed than the first one.
I don’t really know how I felt about having two new characters accompanying Emily and Wendell on their adventure. I didn’t feel like it added much to the story, more as if they were in the way of more Wendell and Emily scenes.
Overall a really good second book even if I loved the first book more.
